ABOUT ME
Being fit isn’t something you are born with or without. Even as a 10 year old kid, I was uncoordinated and avoided sports like the plague. I recall anxiously running to the back of the line in gym class when the teacher wasn’t looking so my turn would never come. No backward or forward rolls for me if I can help it!
You would never know I was the most uncoordinated person not even 10 years ago. I have almost always avoided fitness/working out since I can remember for with every excuse in the book. I was actually voted “Most Likely To Not Break A Bone.” Seriously.
If I can make a lifestyle change and a mind reset, literally anyone can!
Somehow, after a lifetime of not really incorporating health into my lifestyle, I approached 50 and things started shifting for me. My quality of life became my main focus and my health became a necessity, not an option.
I started out with group classes, moved to 5K’s, graduated to weight lifting and found myself doing my first bodybuidling show at age 52! Two years later, I was a personal trainer sharing a strong desire to help others live a healthier life, no matter the age or circumstances.
